INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES: MPS (Manual Picking Station): The manual picking station is a key component of the Clean Earth of Carteret operation. It is crucial for optimizing recycling options for contaminated soil products and for achieving marketable recycled aggregate product. Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: • Learn all aspects of manual picking station operation. This is a paid hourly/flex position to deliver exceptional hands-on and interactive science related enrichment experiences to local families. Hours may vary (e.g., 0-5 hours/week) depending on activity session demand by the families and/or other project needs that may arise from time to time within the candidates availability preferences, capabilities, and interests. The ideal candidate will work together with the local team in areas such as planning and conducting Science and STEM-based enrichment sessions, operational logistics, stakeholder engagement, and other relevant team and administrative functions from time to time.
