Job Description Join Our Team! Clinton Hill Community & Early Childhood Center is on the lookout for a vibrant and enthusiastic Extended Care Program Instructor to join our part-time team! As an Extended Care Program Instructor, you'll play a vital role in our extended-day program (morning care or aftercare), engaging students in a range of exciting activities while ensuring their safety and well-being. This position is perfect for individuals who love working with children and can bring creativity, energy, and positivity to the program! Key Responsibilities • Supervise and engage children during extended-day activities, ensuring a safe and fun environment., • Plan and implement various engaging and developmentally appropriate activities, such as arts and crafts, games, and educational projects., • Foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff, creating a sense of community., • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's day and any concerns., • Participate in staff meetings and trainings to continually enhance your skills and contribute to the team's success., • High School Diploma or equivalent; experience in early childhood education preferred., • 1-2 years of experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport with children and families., • Ability to create and implement engaging activities that captivate young learners., • Demonstrated ability to foster a nurturing and positive environment., • Flexibility and adaptability to the changing needs of children and the program., • First Aid and CPR certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
