Job DescriptionCoreWeave is The Essential Cloud for AI™. Built for pioneers by pioneers, CoreWeave delivers a platform of technology, tools, and teams that enables innovators to build and scale AI with confidence. Trusted by leading AI labs, startups, and global enterprises, CoreWeave combines superior infrastructure performance with deep technical expertise to accelerate breakthroughs and turn compute into capability. Founded in 2017, CoreWeave became a publicly traded company (Nasdaq: CRWV) in March 2025. Learn more at the Team CoreWeave is The Essential Cloud for AI™ — the infrastructure that the world's leading AI labs, researchers, and enterprises depend on. The Build, Test, and Deploy team owns the platform, services, and systems that power software integration and delivery across CoreWeave's AI cloud: 40+ data centers, each running a large number of application instances, all needing to be built, packaged, deployed, updated, and managed reliably and at pace. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who wants to build systems that other engineers depend on every day. You'll work on CI pipeline infrastructure, test experience, artifact and image management, release automation, progressive rollout systems, and the CLIs/SDKs engineers use to interact with the delivery platform — contributing meaningfully to an integration and delivery platform that runs at a scale most engineers never get to work on. What You'll Do • Implement and improve core components of our internal integration and delivery platform — CI infrastructure, build and testing services, deployment orchestration and automation., • Design, build, and operate internal artifact management capabilities (e.g., image/package registries, build caches, promotion workflows) that underpin CI and deployment across many services and data centers., • Build and evolve internal CLIs and language SDKs (Go, Python, or similar) that provide ergonomic, reliable access to delivery platform features and artifact systems., • Take ownership of discrete platform features and team-level technical initiatives from design through production, delivering high-quality work that has direct impact on engineering velocity across CoreWeave., • Identify and fix bottlenecks in build, test, and deploy workflows, whether that's flaky test infrastructure, slow pipeline stages, unreliable rollout mechanisms, or gaps in observability., • Collaborate with engineers across infrastructure, security, and product teams to integrate delivery platform capabilities into broader engineering workflows., • Contribute to code and design reviews, bringing a strong eye for reliability, scalability, and maintainability to the work of the team., • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, helping them grow their technical skills and develop sound engineering judgment., • Participate in post-mortems and incident response, and follow through on improvements that reduce the chance of recurrence., • Design and implement the next-generation AI-native and agentic workflows and developer infrastructure. What We're Looking For, • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with meaningful time spent building and operating production services, developer tooling, or platform infrastructure., • Strong programming fundamentals and systems thinking. You approach platform problems as software engineering problems, writing clean, testable, and maintainable code., • Proficiency in Go, Python, or similar languages. Comfortable building services in cloud-native environments., • Experience designing and building developer tooling such as internal CLIs or language SDKs, with attention to usability, versioning, and maintainability., • Experience working with artifact stores or registries (e.g., container registries, package registries, build caches) as part of CI/CD or build systems., • Solid understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals, such as how workloads are defined, scheduled, and operated at the cluster level., • Experience with CI/CD systems and an understanding of the full software delivery lifecycle from commit to production., • Strong debugging skills. You can reason through complex distributed system behavior, identify root causes, and propose durable fixes., • Clear communicator who works well across team boundaries and can explain technical trade-offs to both engineering peers and non-technical stakeholders.Nice to Have, • Experience contributing to CI system internals (pipeline execution engines, job scheduling, caching, artifact and image management) using tools like GitHub Actions, Buildkite, or Bazel., • Experience building test infrastructure, such as test execution platforms and hermetic test environments., • Experience designing and operating internal developer-facing CLIs and/or language SDKs (e.g., Go, Python, TypeScript) for internal platforms or services., • Familiarity with progressive delivery patterns, such as canary releases, feature flags, or blue/green deployments., • Exposure to multi-datacenter or multi-region deployment environments with diverse application footprints., • Familiarity with delivery observability, such as DORA metrics, build telemetry, or deployment health signals., • Experience advancing AI-native and agentic infrastructure and incorporating these capabilities directly in workflows., • Be Curious at Your Core, • Act Like an Owner, • Empower Employees, • Deliver Best-in-Class Client Experiences The base salary range for this role is $139,000 to $204,000.
