You will primarily conduct analysis and develop webtools in support of external outreach products, including reports, web interactives, and databases. You will also perform climate data analysis and contribute to the development of climate impacts research tools and datasets in support of the Climate Impact Lab. Position Responsibilities • Prepare statistical analysis, summary statistics, and data visualizations to support written reports and communication of research, • Develop lightweight web applications that provide access to research and data for specific audiences or serve as prototypes for more complex solutions, • Manipulate, process, and analyze climate, climate impact, and socioeconomic datasets using a suite of analytical tools, including Python and jupyter notebooks, • Support the definition of requirements for research and outreach products based on use case and audience, • Support the preparation of narratives that communicate key storylines of analysis results Qualifications, • Master’s degree (or Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years relevant experience) in earth science, data science, economics, or related disciplines or equivalent work experience in a related field, • Proficient in Python; Experience with R is a plus, • Strong mathematics and statistics background; Proficiency in manipulating and analyzing large data sets, and experience working with climate data is a plus, • Ability to translate data into interactive web applications using tools like Streamlit or Plotly Dash, or the ability to quickly learn those frameworks; Experience with Flask, JavaScript, Cursor, Claude Code, or cloud infrastructure for deployment is a plus, • Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, organization, and written communication skills required, • Experience with cross academic-private collaboration and scientific communication is a plusLocation and Travel Requirements, • Rhodium Group’s Energy & Climate practice has a hybrid work environment (in office 1-2 days/week) with staff hubs in five cities: Washington, DC; New York, NY; the San Francisco Bay Area, CA; Seattle, WA; and Denver, CO—the candidate must be based in one of these locations, and preference will be given to applicants planning to work from either Seattle, WA or New York, NY. DUTIES OF THE POSITION: • Independently perform complex forensic data collections and analysis in both on-site and remote capacity, • Ability to consult with and coordinate directly with legal teams/client IT departments to establish and define project scope and forensic workflows, • Maintain forensic tools and technologies by staying informed on version updates and new options in the market, • Work closely with project management and other team members on completing complex projects in a fast pace, deadline driven environment, • Contribute to the development, documentation, and enhancement of procedures to meet discovery process requirements., • Provide clients with accurate project estimates and identify areas for upselling to increase department revenue, • Assist leaderships’ vision through process improvement, innovation, leadership, and industry trends, • Consistently contribute and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring they are regularly reviewed, updated, and followed., • Perform quality control checks on work product prior to delivering to the client, • Complete additional duties assigned by manager, • Minimum of an undergraduate degree, preferably in Digital Forensic Science or Computer Science/Engineering, • 6+ years of relevant experience in where the analyst understands the forensic lifecycle and can properly perform scoping activities, evidence acquisitions on a range of devices, and execute forensic analysis at an expert level, • Experience using industry standard forensic tools such as Axiom, EnCase, Cellebrite, FTK Imager, Digital Collector, • General understanding of Mac/Windows filesystems, mobile devices, and encryption, • Experience preserving desktops, laptops, mobile devices/tablets, servers, both cloud and on-premise email implementations, nontraditional cloud data sources, social media, etc. in a forensically sound manner, • Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully in both verbally and in written format to team members and technical/non-technical clients, • Ability to work extended hours when necessary to ensure client deadlines are met, • Must be willing to travel regularly on short notice; must have valid passport for occasional international travel, • Must be an energetic self-starter who can work within a team environment but also independently as the situation requires, • Ability to document forensic workflows based on sound industry practice, • Willingness to develop/train other team members to increase the group’s overall knowledge base as well as cultivate secondary resources to assist in larger collection events, • Understanding of the electronic discovery reference model (EDRM), • Ability to submit time entries on a regular basis to meet performance metrics, • Possess at least one industry standard certification (EnCE, CCE, CCFE, GCFE, GCFA, CCO, CCPA, CCME, etc.) and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and learning., • Extensive knowledge of litigation support applications (e.g. Relativity, Nuix, Google Workspace including Vault, Microsoft 365 including Purview, etc.), • Experience working with structured data exported from various platforms including analysis, custom scripting, and data manipulation to develop reports for client use ABOUT CONTACT: Contact Discovery Services delivers best-in-class service to many Fortune 100/500 companies. Purpose of the Position We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Service Desk Analyst who enjoys fieldwork and engaging directly with customers. This role requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays, with the benefit of a hybrid schedule. The candidate will provide technical assistance and support to Win staff and clients, ensuring the effective use of IT equipment and applications. Responsibilities include remote and in-person service desk support, setup, installation, and troubleshooting of IT equipment and software, and resolving hardware, software, and network connectivity issues efficiently. Key Responsibilities • Respond to user inquiries and technical assistance requests via phone, email, or work order., • Assess and resolve problems with IT equipment and applications for users., • Serve as the first-level point of contact for Win clients, facilitating the effective use of student iPads, laptops, and PC lab equipment., • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues., • Escalate IT service issues to appropriate technical staff as needed., • Document all user support activities in the designated IT work order system., • Maintain communication with end-users and supervisors regarding support activities., • Install, upgrade, maintain, and troubleshoot IT assets, including desktop computers, peripherals, software applications, laptops, printers, tablets, smartphones, and IP phones., • Provide individual and group end-user instruction on the use of deployed technology resources., • Maintain updated IT inventory information and document it in the IT Asset Tracking system., • Prepare and maintain IT service documentation and reports., • Shift: Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; occasional assignments on evenings and weekends., • Regular travel to Win sites across all five boroughs of New York City., • Occasional inspection of equipment and cables in floors, ceilings, closets, and IT rooms., • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems from an accredited college or university, or graduation from a certified technical training program in computer maintenance/repair., • At least two years of work experience in IT support or a related technical support capacity., • Leadership: Set an example by following Win policies and procedures.
