Job Description Position Overview: We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated finance leader to join us as the Vice President, FP&A. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is a key strategic partner to leaders across the organization. The VP will lead and scale our FP&A function, elevate financial rigor, and help drive the company's long‑term growth objectives through clear insights, strong forecasting, and data‑driven decision support. This is a high‑visibility role with significant influence on strategy, performance management, and operational execution. Experience operating in a public‑company environment-where accuracy, transparency, and compliance are paramount-is essential. The position will work five days a week on-site in Somerset, NJ. Key Responsibilities: • Strategic Planning & Forecasting, • Lead the development of annual and long‑range plans, monthly and quarterly forecasts, predictive analytics, and performance reporting., • Manage the company's P&L, ensuring leadership has timely visibility into risks, opportunities, and performance against targets., • Build scalable forecasting and modeling processes that support strategic investments and guide financial decision‑making., • Budgeting & Expense Management, • Drive the budgeting process and partner with business leaders to optimize expense management., • Ensure investments are rigorously analyzed and operational costs are well‑controlled., • Leadership & Business Partnership, • Establish a culture of FP&A excellence-positioning the function as a trusted, strategic partner across the organization., • Collaborate with the leadership team to translate business strategies into financial outcomes and measurable goals., • Lead, mentor, and develop the FP&A team, raising expectations and fostering accountability, integrity, and transparency., • Deliver enhanced analytics, dashboards, and reporting to support strategic decisions., • Prepare executive‑level presentations and recommendations for senior leadership and the Board of Directors., • Produce financial reporting packages including KPIs, business analyses, financial statements, operational dashboards, and variance explanations., • Recommend and implement process improvements to strengthen forecasting, reporting, and analytics. Drive forecast accuracy., • Elevate and scale systems and tools to improve automation, accuracy, and speed of financial insights., • Lead FP&A integration efforts for new acquisitions., • AI & Automation Mindset, • Champion the use of AI, automation, and advanced analytics to streamline FP&A workflows, improve forecasting accuracy, and enhance decision‑making across the organization. Qualifications: • 15+ years of progressive experience, including at least 8 years in FP&A., • Experience supporting or leading FP&A in a public company, with a strong understanding of reporting rigor, compliance expectations, and stakeholder transparency., • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA strongly preferred. CPA/CFA a plus., • Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to model current and future states., • Proven experience scaling companies, driving change, and supporting high‑growth environments., • Strong leadership skills with sound judgment and a track record of delivering results., • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem‑solving skills., • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels., • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment., • High ethical standards, including integrity, transparency, and trust., • Demonstrated critical thinking, professional accountability, and ownership of outcomes., • Ability to proactively manage change and prioritize complex workloads., • Deep familiarity with financial accounting, modeling, and analysis., • Strong executive presence with the ability to lead through influence and drive execution., • Comfort with AI‑enabled tools and a forward‑looking approach to automation and digital transformation.
