Job Description Job Summary Sarno da Costa D'Aniello Maceri Webb LLC is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development & Marketing Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, strategic planning, and customer relationship management. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve company objectives. Responsibilities • Develop and implement marketing strategies and business development initiatives to drive revenue, client acquisition, and retention; assess and modernize the firm’s business development & marketing structure to align with growth priorities, • Partner with firm leadership and practice chairs to support practice and industry initiatives; advise attorneys on pursuit strategies, relationship-building, and positioning, • Develop and support the implementation of key business development initiatives, including priority client targeting and campaigns, client satisfaction, client seminars and networking events, as well as other initiatives to enhance business development efforts, • Coach attorneys on marketing & business development strategies and take an active role in the execution and follow-up of such strategies, • Manage and maintain the company website and web presence across all platforms, social media channels, etc., • Perform competitive intelligence analysis and monitor the competitive landscape to identify business opportunities; analyze client and market data to uncover trends and new revenue opportunities, • Serve as a key contributor to the firm’s strategic planning and growth agenda, including market expansion and client segmentation; work closely with executives and partners to anticipate industry trends and inform firm-wide growth strategy, • Develops and supports annual marketing and business development business plan development focused on priorities outlined by firm leaders and/or assigned teams, including thought leadership platforms, communications, and client outreach, • Develop and respond to RFPs and pitches, including gathering input from attorneys and other information sources, drafting qualifications/value propositions, and coaching attorneys on strategy and follow-up as well as pitch meeting prep and related activities, • Assist with the planning and implementation of strategic sponsorships, conferences, and memberships of local organizations, • Develop new marketing materials and edit and refine existing ones, • Periodically review and consult with lawyers regarding their bios and practice descriptions to ensure that they are current; collaborate with lawyers on blogs and other content for the website, • Lead and mentor 1 staff member, across business development, marketing, and communications, • 5-7 years+ of experience in a similar position within a law firm environment, • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent experience, • Ability to travel to all of our offices, as required, • Skilled in evaluating and implementing business development infrastructure, including workflows, technology platforms (CRM, analytics, proposal tools), and process improvements, • Experience advising and coaching attorneys on effective business development strategies, along with building and executing content marketing campaigns, • Strategic thinker with strong analytical ability, commercial instincts, and outstanding communication and leadership skills to influence at all organizational levels, • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products, • Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment., • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with all levels of the Firm and outside vendors, • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines with shifting priorities, • Strong customer service skills, able to anticipate needs and exercise independent judgment, • Exercises solid strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, • An understanding of the legal industry—market opportunities, competition, service offerings and competitive advantages
