What This Role Really Looks Like: This is a Project Manager role with United Water Restoration Group (UWRG) — a property damage mitigation industry disruptor providing 24/7/365 restorative solutions for water, fire, mold, asbestos, and other hazardous material damage. For more than 6 years, our independently owned Long Island, NY organization has grown to serve homeowners, businesses, and property managers across the island — and we're a five-time winner of "Best Restoration Specialist" on Long Island. You'll own all stages of a project from lead conversion through final invoicing, including: Conversion of Job Leads into Memorable 5-Star Experiences • Responding promptly to urgent property damage calls, ensuring 24/7 availability for clients., • Providing solutions based on client needs and long-term goals., • Ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle, creating lasting impressions that turn into 5-star reviews. Extreme Ownership for Crushing Revenue Goals • Maintaining detailed, real-time documentation of project scope, progress, and client interactions., • Maximizing opportunities for all phases of work (contents, asbestos abatement, rebuilds, etc.) that add real value for the client., • Managing client and stakeholder expectations while ensuring projects are delivered on target., • Preparing, justifying, and defending invoices with insurance carriers while advocating for clients and stakeholders. Building a Culture of Effective & Positive Collaboration • Providing guidance and expertise to fellow Project Managers when needed., • Promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning across the organization. Must Haves: • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients, stakeholders, team members, and partners., • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with urgency under tight deadlines., • Availability to respond to urgent situations outside standard business hours (on-call rotation required)., • Incredible selling ability reflected in a strong closing ratio., • 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in restoration, construction, or a related industry., • Strong knowledge of restoration processes, insurance claims handling, and industry standards., • Exceptional organizational and documentation skills with keen attention to detail., • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation 24/7., • Safety-first mindset; OSHA certification preferred., • IICRC WRT & FSRT Certifications, or willingness to get., • NYS DOL Mold Supervisor License, or willingness to get., • Tech-savvy with email, mobile apps, computers, tablets, and smartphones., • Xactimate software experience preferred. What Success Looks Like: • Leads convert into signed projects at a strong closing ratio., • Clients consistently leave 5-star reviews and refer new business., • Projects are documented thoroughly and delivered on target, phase by phase., • Invoices are accurately prepared, justified, and successfully defended with insurance carriers.Salary: $68,000 - $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience ( + bonuses and commission)
