Job Description JOB SUMMARY The Employee Health & Safety Supervisor will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of workplace health and safety programs across our operations. This role is critical in supporting our growth by building scalable safety systems, fostering a strong safety culture, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES · Develop, implement, and oversee employee health and safety programs that scale with company growth. · Foster a proactive safety culture by training, coaching, and empowering employees at all levels · Partner with cross-functional teams to embed safety into daily practices. · Collect, track, and analyze safety metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement · Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action planning. · Maintain compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulatory standards. · Support the development of policies and procedures that align with a growing, fast-paced operation. · Act as the point of contact for safety audits, inspections, and regulatory agencies QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must satisfactorily perform each essential duty. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES · Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices in workplace health and safety. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE · Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). · 3–5 years of health and safety experience, preferably within manufacturing, food production, or CPG. · Experience in scaling safety programs during periods of rapid company growth. · Proven ability to balance compliance requirements with practical, business-focused solutions. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS ☒No Travel ☐Light Travel (0 – 10%) ☐Moderate Travel (10% - 30%) ☐Heavy Travel (greater than 30%) PHYSICAL DEMANDS ☐Sedentary - Lifting up to 10 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers, and files. Walking and standing are required only occasionally. ☐Light - Lifting 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Walking or standing to a significant degree, involves sitting most of the time with a degree of pushing and pulling. ☒Medium - Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds. ☐Heavy - Lifting 100 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
