We're hiring an Industrial Sales Representative for a well-established manufacturing and distribution organization with a long history of supporting customers across Western and Central New York. This is an incredible opportunity to step into a large, established territory with decades-deep customer relationships — and earn uncapped commissions based on your effort, service, and success. This role is commission-based with significant earning potential! To ensure a smooth transition and support your success, a base salary is provided during the initial ramp-up period. This guarantees income as you establish your client pipeline and fully transition into commission-based compensation. This in-person, Industrial Sales Representative role is based out of Rochester, NY, with travel throughout Rochester, Buffalo, and Syracuse. You'll spend most of your time on the road visiting manufacturing plants, building relationships, and helping long-standing customers find the right solutions for their operations. Responsibilities: • Manage and grow an existing, high-value territory with long-standing customer relationships, • Visit manufacturing plants, industrial operations, and facilities to understand customer needs and pain points, • Build strong relationships with maintenance teams, engineering managers, operations leaders, storeroom staff, plant managers, and purchasing professionals, • Provide technical product knowledge and solutions based on customer applications and challenges, • Develop deeper relationships within accounts to expand contact networks and increase sales, • Work autonomously, manage your schedule, and proactively grow your territory, • Participate in extensive product and sales training — online, in-person, at manufacturers' conferences, and industry programs, • Collaborate with a supportive sales team and company leadership to drive long-term success Qualifications: • Experience in industrial sales or working within industrial environments is helpful — but not required, • Strong relationship-building skills and a genuine interest in visiting plants and understanding customers' operational challenges, • A proactive, hardworking mindset with a desire to earn based on your performance, • Technically inclined — comfortable learning products and helping customers troubleshoot, • Highly organized and self-motivated; able to manage a large territory independently, • Comfortable meeting new people, asking smart questions, and becoming a trusted partner to customers, • Base salary during onboarding and training, • Uncapped commission, paid from dollar one, • Highly competitive earning potential, • Full benefits package, • Office space available in Buffalo and Rochester, • Extensive training, including manufacturer programs, conferences, and technical learning opportunities First time working with a Recruiter?
