Job Description IVI RMA North America has a need for a Full-Time Clinical Assistant for our Englewood, NJ office. This is a Monday-Friday position from 7am-3pm with alternating Sundays. The Clinical Assistant will promote and restore patients’ health by assisting in the nursing process and supporting physicians and other multidisciplinary team members with hands-on patient care. You will help to create a positive experience for our patients and ensure that patients receive high-quality service by assisting clinical team with patient care. Essential Functions and Accountabilities: • Assist Physicians with clinical procedures, • Follow proper protocols for all procedures, • Practice phlebotomy, • Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds., • Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol., • Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms., • Maintain clinical supplies inventory., • Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories., • Manage Lanfax for outside labs, reports, results. Enter results and email to provider team for review., • Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.
