Job Description Assistant Director of MDS and Case Management Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is conducting a search for a Registered Nurse (RN) Assistant Director skilled in MDS to oversee Case Management Services at our world-class skilled nursing facility located on the Queens-Long Island border. Reporting to the Director of MDS and Case Management, the Assistant Director of Case Management is responsible for directing the Resident Assessment and Reimbursement, Case Management and Facility Transitional Care programs. Job Description We are working with a prominent, regional firm seeking a Health Care Associate with at least three years of experience to join their Uniondale, NY office. The ideal candidate will counsel and represent health care facilities and practitioners and other entities and individuals in the health care industry with respect to regulatory compliance, litigation, audits, investigations, clinical operations, and business operations matters. The candidate must have a working knowledge in the business and regulatory aspects of health care law including Stark, Anti-Kickback, HIPAA, fraud and abuse, compliance, medical staff matters and reimbursement issues.
