Job Function: \n • Day Shift.\n Perform MRI procedures under the direction of a radiologist, exercising independent judgment and technical skill. \n\n * Ensure patient care and safety during imaging procedures, minimizing risks such as electric shock, burns, and radiation exposure. \n\n * Determine appropriate anatomical positioning and apply patient shielding as required. \n\n * Assess patient pain or discomfort during imaging and contact physicians for appropriate intervention. \n\n * Take call according to the department’s monthly schedule. \n\n * Perform and document all prescribed quality control checks; maintain accurate QC logs and service records. \n\n\n \n \n Job Requirements: \n * Current New York State Radiologic Technology license and registration, including permit for injections. \n\n * Registered or eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); advanced certification preferred. \n\n * Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology. \n\n * Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist; 2 years preferred. \n\n\n \n \nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
