Job Description As a Diagnostic Radiologic Technician, you will play a vital role in the healthcare team by performing various imaging procedures to help physicians diagnose and treat patients. You will work with advanced radiologic technology and collaborate closely with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care. Key Responsibilities: • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, while ensuring patient safety and comfort., • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process to alleviate any concerns., • Operate radiographic equipment in accordance with established protocols to produce high-quality images., • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures., • Adhere to safety standards, including radiation safety protocols, to minimize exposure to patients and staff., • Assist in the maintenance and calibration of radiologic equipment, ensuring it’s in good working order., • Work with radiologists to obtain necessary images and address requests for additional views when necessary.
