You Will: • Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients., • Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols., • Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner., • Understand and use TR, TE, flip angel, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images., • Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process., • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients., • Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information., • Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements., • Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals., • Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers., • Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions., • Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting., • Genuinely passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgement and an ability to remain professional in all situations, • Able to demonstrate effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills and respect with patients, guests & colleagues, • ARRT(R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification, • State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable, • Must have BLS certification, • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred! #MRNY We Offer: • Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision coverages., • Health Savings Accounts with employer funding., • Wellness dollars, • 401(k) Employer Match, • Free services at any of our imaging centers for you and your immediate family.

Job Responsibility • Performs thorough screening of patients prior to procedure., • Ensures no metal objects accompany patient into procedure room., • Checks patient creatinine level and calculates glomerular filtration rate (GFR) to determine if patient can receive IV contrast material., • Reviews and ensures accuracy of screening forms completed by patient, including the IV contrast materials information sheet., • Explains procedures and sets up equipment to administer the proper procedure in a timely fashion., • Ensures that a consent form for IV contrast materials has been obtained., • Performs MRI procedures to include: abdominal, thoracic, neurological exams, extremities, sub-periosteal implant planning, radiation therapy treatment planning, biopsies etc., • Prepares patient for exam by placing and positioning patient on exam table within the gantry., • Enters patient history data and other pertinent information obtained from a requisition completed by the, • Radiologist to include anatomical area of interest., • Performs related duties as required.
