Job DescriptionJob Title: Parts Washer Job Description We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Parts Washer to join a busy service center team. In this entry-level position, you will ensure that tool components are thoroughly cleaned and prepared for inspection, repair, and reassembly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in organization and cleanliness, and feels comfortable in an industrial environment. Responsibilities • Clean and wash a variety of tool parts using both manual and mechanical methods, including components from nail guns, rebar tiers, compressors, and similar equipment., • Maintain accurate labeling and organized storage of cleaned parts to ensure they are easy to identify and retrieve., • Assist technicians by staging clean parts in the correct sequence and location for repair and assembly work., • Maintain a clean, orderly work area and keep all cleaning tools and equipment in proper working condition., • Follow all company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures while performing daily tasks.Essential Skills, • Ability to perform general labor tasks in an industrial or service center environment., • Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift., • Ability to lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds safely and consistently., • Strong attention to detail to ensure parts are thoroughly cleaned and properly labeled., • Ability to work independently while managing assigned tasks and meeting expectations., • Authorization to work in the United States.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Previous experience in a manufacturing, automotive, or maintenance environment is a plus., • Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus and will help in understanding different tool components and cleaning methods.Why Work Here? The setting emphasizes cleanliness, safety, and adherence to established processes. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Plainview, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
