POSITION OVERVIEW Under supervision of the Program Director the Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical oversight and quality assurance to all unlicensed and licensed staff clinicians who provide substance and alcohol abuse services in an OTP program setting. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for adherence to all applicable licensing, supervision, billing, documentation requirements and overseeing the timeliness and quality of a staff member’s clinical work. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for client case record reviews, performance improvement and quality improvement to include all required monthly reports. KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Responsible for the daily operations and performance of the OTP program, • Manage OTP clinic operations to budgeted and planned results., • Work closely with staff via weekly supervision to ensure the completion of performance goals. Provides ongoing, regular feedback and performance evaluation to clinicians on the quality and timeliness of their clinical work as well as their caseload. Also solicits feedback from clinicians regarding supervision and whether needs are being met., • Monitor caseloads and ensure the supervisees comply with all agency, clinical, legal and ethical practices. POSITION OVERVIEW DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES • Coach teachers as needed to establish a strong classroom community with clear expectations, routines, joy, and excellence., • Collaborates with School Leadership when handling discipline/culture issues., • Lead professional development focused on building a positive school community, classroom management, social-emotional development, family partnership, etc., • Serve as the point person for dealing with behavior crisis intervention, acute behavior issues, and attendance/arrival., • Work with all teachers to ensure that they constantly communicate with parents., • Monitor behavioral pull-out and in-school suspensions., • Coordinate and manage after-school programming and other enrichment activities, as needed., • Lead breakfast, lunch/recess, dismissal, other transitional experiences, and whole-school operations., • Proactively circulate throughout classrooms and hallways during the day to gain valuable context on student behavior and help support positive school culture., • Aid teachers in improving their instructional practice, especially regarding discipline issues, relationships with students, and school culture., • Assist teachers, students, and parents in effectively creating and implementing individual behavior plans (in conjunction with the Social Worker/Guidance Counselor)., • Support the Social Worker/Guidance Counselor in designing and executing parent workshops., • Support the execution and supervision of school-wide procedures, arrival, recess, lunch, transitions, and dismissal., • Maintains accurate student discipline records, documenting all conferences, suspensions, discipline referrals, and follow-up within the student information system., • Perform other duties as outlined by School Leadership., • Committed to furthering anti-racism, equity, and racial justice in all our efforts, and expect all our stakeholders to participate in this work so that we can create a future without limits for our students together., • Complies with all charter, federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including the NYS Department of Education, Department of Health, and NYS Office of Children and Family Services, • Bachelor’s degree preferred. KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Provides quality and efficient customer service and maintains professional relationships with employees, peers, and clients., • Oversees all clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, faxing, emailing of documents pertaining to clients enrolled in the program, taking meeting minutes, data entry, and answering and re-directing telephone calls., • Assist with completion and maintenance of documentation in STARS, HERDS, OASAS reports, and/or Sigma Care as applicable and requested., • Generates client roster, staff schedule, and documentation to maintain an accurate daily census report for program., • Maintains the accurate client roster in the OASAS CDS system (PI and PAS reports)., • Responsible for reconciling and assisting staff with the applicable EHR databases (e.g., Avatar, NextGen, AWARDS), • In an outpatient program, responsible for maintaining an efficient data collection of the Methadone Annual Report, confirming client’s eligibility for car fare through PTAR, and ensuring all outreach communication is documented for record keeping., • In the detox and rehab program, responsible for preparing resident charts for sick calls and informing Medical Team and Nurse Managers of sick calls and maintains a consult record logbook for all clients who have an ordered consultation., • Complete correspondence/communication pertaining to treatment, enrollment, and discharges (lost to contact or left against clinical advice)., • Responsible for ensuring appropriate closure of a client’s chart in the EHR/charting system., • High School Diploma or GED required., • AA/AS in Administration or related field preferred., • Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Unit Clerk, Administrative Assistant, CNA, or related administrative positions, required., • Must obtain Mandated reporter (2 hours) training/certificate prior to hire date., • Excellent organizational and communication skills, required., • Intermediate use of standard Microsoft Office & Internet required., • Bilingual (Spanish/English); strongly preferred.
