Job DescriptionJob Title: Oncology Registered Nurse Job Description Administer a range of treatments including chemotherapy, biotherapy, antibiotics, and injections while managing symptoms and educating patients. Deliver and document nursing care using a structured clinical approach. Proficient in administering various therapies such as IV infusions, monoclonal antibodies, and subcutaneous/intramuscular injections. Respond appropriately to adverse reactions during treatment, following established oncology safety protocols. Maintain compliance with documentation standards and regulations governing patient health information. Apply knowledge of safety and procedural guidelines acquired through ongoing training and hands-on experience. Conduct continuous patient assessments and record findings from all relevant sources. Collaborate with other clinical staff to support comprehensive patient care. Contribute to maintaining a safe and well-equipped care environment. Communicate clearly and professionally with physicians and interdisciplinary team members. Follow all established clinical protocols and operational procedures. Flexible to support other areas of the clinic such as pharmacy, triage, laboratory services, immunizations, and scheduling as needed. Typical patient volume is approximately 10–12 individuals per day, allowing for focused and personalized care. The role may require occasional travel to a nearby affiliated location in Roselle, NJ, to support staffing needs. The practice operates across three locations, with flexibility expected as needed. Each location is staffed with up to 10 nurses when fully operational, currently averaging around 8 nurses per site. The environment promotes collaboration and cross-coverage among locations to ensure continuity of care. Physical requirements include full range of body motion, handling and lifting patients, manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, standing and walking for extended periods, and occasionally lifting items up to 40 lbs. Corrected vision and hearing to normal range are required. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Belleville, New Jersey. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $114400.00 - $114400.00/yr. Client will cover oncology certifications and certifications for nursing.
