Job DescriptionPosition Description: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Worker / Porter to perform a wide range of maintenance, cleaning, and facility support duties. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and overall appearance of both the interior and exterior of the building. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently or under direction as needed.Key Responsibilities:Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of all interior spaces including:Cleaning and sanitizing all bathrooms, as well as keeping bathrooms stocked with required materials Dusting and vacuuming all public and office areasEmptying and removing garbage and recycling from all designated areasMaintain the exterior of the building:Daily removal of debris, waste, and litter from sidewalks, entryways, and surrounding groundsSnow and ice removal from entrances and walkways during winter monthsGeneral upkeep of exterior materials and landscaping as neededEnsure all trash and recycling bins are taken out on the designated collection days and returned promptly after pickupAssist with loading and unloading of delivery trucks; direct others as needed to ensure efficient handling of materialsPerform routine and preventative maintenance tasks as assignedReport any safety hazards, repair needs, or building issues to the supervisor immediatelyFollow all safety guidelines and building protocolsComplete all other duties as assigned by the supervisor Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferredProven experience in maintenance, custodial, or porter rolesAbility to use basic hand tools and cleaning equipmentPhysical stamina and the ability to lift/move up to 50 lbsStrong attention to detail and time management skillsAbility to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditionsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsMust be dependable and punctualSchedule:Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM with occasional weekend shifts as neededWork Environment:Combination of indoor and outdoor workExposure to cleaning chemicals, noise, and varying weather conditionsBenefits: \tHealth insurance with generous company contribution \tDental, Life Insurance, Disability, and Vision \t401K plan with employer match \tVacation and sick days \tPaid holidays $16.50 - $17.50 Hourly
