Job Description Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician (MAVT)/ Motor Assistance Vehicle Operator (MAVO) SUMMARY: The Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician/Operator (MAVT/MAVO) is responsible for all aspects of patients’ care within the scope of certification. Essential Job Functions The Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician/Operator (MAVT/MAVO) is an integral part of the Virgo transportation team. In this position the MAVT/MAVO transports ambulatory patients to and from residences and or skilled nursing facilities to medical treatments and or appointments, and then return them. Some of the patients are able to ambulate to our vehicles while other must be moved in their wheelchairs, or are able to move on their electric scooters. No person is to ride the lift while standing, or on the electric scooter. The patients are placed in a wheelchair to go up on the lift, and they are moved inside and secured to the vehicle either on the bench seat or in the wheelchair. Should there be an aide or family member accompanying the patient, they must be secured in the vehicle as well. The MAVT/MAVO must check to see if any belongings or paperwork must accompany the patient for the transport, and then ensure that it gets dropped off with the patient. For each trip the appropriate documentation must be filled out, and where required, obtain the necessary signatures from the patient and /or facility. In the event monies are to be collected at time of service, a receipt is to be filled out and a copy given to the patient, or the person accompanying the patient. The MAVT/MAVO must be capable of good oral communications as for every leg of the trip dispatch must be communicated with, as to alert them to the status of the transport. In addition should any incident occur dispatch must be notified in a timely manner. The vehicle being used for any particular shift must be checked both prior and post usage for mechanical operations, fluids, and general cleanliness. The MAVT/MAVO must be able to utilize maps in order to locate facilities or residences that they are not aware of, with the assistance of dispatch. At the conclusion of the MAVT’s/MAVO's shift they must turn in the appropriate paperwork, and monies collected. Job Description Summary Incumbent is responsible for the safe, orderly and expeditious flow of air traffic through Metering Control of departure traffic on the Non-movement areas of the Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). Dimensions of Position A Ground Management Program (GMP) operator shall support the system in a tactical and pre-tactical nature, shall work on site at EWR and shall be the primary System Operator during all times that the system is in operation. A GMP Operator shall have a thorough working knowledge of Air Traffic Management in the New York Region, in particular, the impact of fix and route availability in relation to the health of the surface operation at EWR. Incumbent works under the general supervision of the Ground Management Program Manager who relies on the incumbent to perform established duties independently. On new or revised procedures, the manager gives detailed instructions, observes, and checks work during or immediately after completion according to complexity of the task or until satisfied the incumbent is able to perform the procedure independently. Accountability • Makes decisions and recommendations involving:, • The sequence and separation of gate traffic ready for pushback and engine start., • Plans the sequence of arriving traffic, using provided electronic aids, i.e. Aerobahn, prior to arrival at the airport., • The merging of arriving and pushback traffic that will assure all aircraft equitable treatment and provide for minimum delays., • Determines the usability of and resolves problems with:, • Communications equipment, • Aerobahn Technology, • Gate Management computer programs, • EWR GMP is not a positive control facility. Individuals with previous experience at one of the New York Airports are preferred. A qualified individual must have at least 2 years experience as a fully qualified, active ATC, pilot or airline dispatcher. This role can be full-time or part-time in the Linden, New Jersey. There will be shifts starting as early as 7:00am, and shifts ending as late as 8:00pm. The facility is open Monday through Friday. The individual for this role enjoys consistency. This role works with a team to align and accomplish daily packaging work orders. Safety is a priority for our team. The packaging labs have air filtration and personal protective equipment is provided. The facility will have an appointed safety committee and a quality assurance manager. Job Duties • Perform packaging duties for the work orders assigned to the packaging lab, • Coordinate batch inventory and packaging materials on your work order with the Packaging Manager, • Operate high tech equipment which sorts and packages dried cannabis flower into pouches and jars, • Operate equipment to produce, package and label pre-rolls and other style joints, • Operate equipment to package oils and concentrates, • Operate equipment to print and apply labels to packages, • Case pack units ready for storage and shipment, • Track and record each step of the process and validate with equipment readings for consistency, • Attend to any units rejected by the packaging equipment, • Set up, changeover, and clean-up of sophisticated packaging equipment, • Breakdown and changeover of workstations per the sanitation and GMP processes of the facility, • Identify when equipment is not operating as intended, • Inspect and call-out any inconsistencies or issues with package labels, • Record activity that occurs throughout your assigned work orders, • Audit labels to ensure proper format and all information is present and in compliance with state regulations, • Work with a scale to accurately weigh product and track numbers, • Update inventory logs per batch and ensure inventory counts are accurate, • Maintain compliance with state regulations and company policies and SOPs, • Keep workstations clean and safe Core Competencies: • Attention to detail, • Production minded, • Excellent organizational and documentation skills, • Ability to work independently as well as with a team, • Dependable and hardworking attitude, • Punctual with reliable attendance, • Good personal hygiene, • Excellent hand-eye coordination, • Efficient and effective Working Conditions/Physical Demands: • Able to stand or sit for extended periods of time., • Able to lift up to 50 pounds, • Extensive use of hands, including repetitive movements Experience and Education: • 1+ years' experience in packaging or inventory-related role, • High school diploma/GED required (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred), • Basic understanding of mechanical packaging equipment, • Basic math skills, • Working knowledge of basic computer functions including e-mail and Excel Additional Requirements: • Must pass all required background checks, • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry, • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age, • Must be approved as a Registered Agent by the Cannabis Control Commission #ENGHP
