Job Title: Prevention Consultant Per Diem Program: NJ4S Compass location: Ocean County Office 245 Atlantic City Blvd 2nd Floor, Beachwood, New Jersey 08722 Position Type: Per Diem Salary: $40.00 an hour / 10 hours Job Description/Summary Collaborates with consultants, school districts, and community service providers to facilitate training, workshops, webinars, and assemblies to youth and families. Responsibilities • Attends events and meetings as needed for the HUB related to prevention and community services., • Implements evidence-based prevention services with curricula with fidelity., • Schedules and assists with the program collaborators on best practices related to prevention science offered to the HUB participants., • Proficiently communicates - written and verbal, • Demonstrates empathy and compassion, • Computer proficiency, familiarity with Excel, Word, professional electronic record keeping portals., • Experience and confidence in public speaking and engagement with large and small audiences., • Excellent time management and organizational skills., • Education - Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or related field., • Experience - Three years of relevant experience with youth in social work or education., • License - Valid NJDL, safe driving record and vehicle availability required per DCF.
