Job Description 7 Layer Studio is looking for an exceptional junior designer to join our creative team! We are a woman-owned and operated, New Jersey–based creative agency delivering strategy and design for ambitious brands. This is a part-time, 6-month temp-to-perm opportunity (25–30 hours per week) with the potential to grow into a full-time role pending project flow and studio needs. We’re looking for someone excited about becoming part of our long-term vision and growing alongside the studio. In this role, you’ll handle a wide range of creative projects; from print layouts, to packaging, website design, and deck preparation. Flexibility is key. We move quickly, collaborate often, and support one another constantly. Requirements What You’ll Do • Design for print, packaging, and digital platforms, • Prepare client-facing presentations and decks, • Create production-ready files to send to print, • Support website design (UI layouts, asset creation, content implementation), • Collaborate closely with the creative team, • Participate in internal reviews and contribute thoughtful feedback, • Maintain organization across files, systems, and project workflowsWho You Are, • A motivated, process-driven designer with 2–5 years of agency experience, • Experienced in print, packaging, and digital design, • A team player, with a willingness to jump in wherever needed, • Conceptually strong — you can think big and execute with precision, • Clear communicator who can articulate design decisions with confidence, • Highly detail-oriented and organized, • Comfortable managing multiple projects and shifting priorities, • Collaborative by nature and open to feedback, • Curious, proactive, and excited to try new ideas, • A positive mindset and fantastic attitude; culture fit matters deeply to us Schedule • 3 days per week, • In person: Mon/Wed/Thur (9am–5pm), • Light remote availability on non-office days as needed, • Part-time compensation (3 days/week, approximately): $2,500 per month, • Full-time salary equivalent: $50,000 annually, • Opportunity to transition to full-time based on performance and studio needs, • Collaborative, supportive, and women-led creative environment, • Exposure to diverse creative projects across industries, • Creative ownership and meaningful contributions, • A culture that values balance, communication, and respect
