    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES The Bilingual Early Intervention ISC and OSC Service Coordinator’s responsibilities may include: • Serve as the primary Service Coordinator for assigned infants, toddlers, and families., • Explain the Early Intervention Program, service coordination process, family rights, procedural safeguards, and available services to families., • Communicate with families in their preferred language when qualified to do so., • Develop trusting, respectful, and family-centered relationships with parents and caregivers., • Assist families with navigating the Early Intervention system., • Coordinate and facilitate communication among families, evaluators, Early Intervention providers, Early Intervention Officials/Designees, and other professionals involved with the child., • Assist families with scheduling and coordinating multidisciplinary evaluations and other required appointments., • Participate in and coordinate IFSP meetings as required., • Assist families in identifying priorities, concerns, resources, and desired outcomes for their child and family., • Support the development, implementation, review, and amendment of the child’s IFSP., • Assist families with identifying available Early Intervention providers for authorized services., • Coordinate the initiation of authorized Early Intervention services., • Monitor whether services are being delivered in accordance with the child’s IFSP., • Follow up with families and providers regarding missed, delayed, interrupted, or unavailable services., • Identify barriers affecting service delivery and communicate concerns to the appropriate Early Intervention personnel., • Maintain ongoing contact with assigned families in accordance with program requirements and individual family needs., • Assist families with accessing community programs, healthcare resources, social services, educational resources, and other supports when appropriate., • Advocate for family participation and informed decision-making throughout the Early Intervention process., • Support transition planning as children approach age three and prepare to transition from the Early Intervention Program., • Collaborate with families regarding potential transition to preschool special education or other appropriate community services., • Complete all required case notes, service coordination documentation, contact logs, IFSP-related documentation, and other records accurately and within required timeframes., • Maintain accurate and current information within required Early Intervention systems., • Maintain confidentiality of child and family information in accordance with applicable federal and New York State requirements and Angel Community Alliance policies., • Participate in required orientation, training, supervision, quality-assurance activities, and professional-development activities., • Follow all applicable New York State Early Intervention Program requirements, policies, procedures, and ethical standards., • Bilingual Service Coordinators may be responsible for:, • Communicating directly with families in both English and their qualified second language., • Explaining Early Intervention processes and requirements in a manner families can understand., • Supporting culturally and linguistically responsive communication., • Helping reduce language-related barriers to participation in Early Intervention services., • Communicating effectively with bilingual families while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality., • Utilizing approved interpretation and translation resources when circumstances require services beyond the Service Coordinator’s language competency or role. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Candidates must meet applicable New York State Early Intervention Program requirements for Service Coordinators and Angel Community Alliance credentialing requirements. Preferred qualifications include: • Bachelor’s degree or higher in psychology, social work, human services, early childhood education, special education, sociology, counseling, family studies, behavioral science, or a related field., • Experience working with infants, toddlers, children, or families., • Experience with children with developmental delays or disabilities., • Knowledge of Early Intervention, developmental disabilities, special education, Medicaid-funded programs, or community-based services., • Experience with case management or service coordination., • Strong written and verbal communication skills., • Strong organizational and time-management abilities., • Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, appointments, and documentation requirements., • Ability to communicate professionally with families, providers, government representatives, and other professionals., • Ability to work independently while remaining responsive to supervision and agency requirements., • Ability to maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records. Spanish-speaking candidates are highly preferred. Additional languages commonly spoken by families throughout New York City are also welcomed. Front-of-House & Station Management • Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized workstation at the start of each shift., • Stock cashier stations with necessary items, including paper goods and ice water., • Change trash bags, wipe tables, and counters, and pack sauce sides and pita bread., • Turn on displays and play music as part of daily setup., • Follow the proper cash handling procedures and rings up items correctly, • Complete all side work and cleaning tasks to Naya's standards, including setting up sanitizing pails. Teamwork & Communication • Support and assist team members as needed., • Communicate issues and ideas to the Chef or Director of Operations., • Participate in training and development of new employees to uphold Naya's service standards. Compliance & Professionalism • Adhere to sanitation standards and company policies on scheduling, clocking in/out, uniforms, and grooming., • Attend company meetings and training sessions as required., • Exhibit a friendly, positive, and helpful attitude at all times., • Carry out additional duties as assigned by management. Who You Are • 1+ year experience as a restaurant team member at similar caliber concept, • The ability to lift at least 50 pounds on a regular basis., • The ability to bend, stoop, stand and perform extensive walking for 8 to 10 hours a day., • Excellent communicator in written and verbal formats., • Communicates information effectively and efficiently., • Completed the Train the Trainer course., • Maintain a friendly, helpful and positive attitude always., • Polished personal presentation; grooming meets Naya standards, as outlined by Employee Handbook, • The ability to withstand exposure to high volume of business and the movement, noise and temperature extremes associated with a busy restaurant., • Ability to perform essential job functions under pressure, maintain professionalism when working under stress., • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule, per the needs of the business., • Attends mandatory meetings., • Adherence to company, state, and county sanitation standards., • Strict adherence to posted schedule and clock in/out at times., • Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned by the Management Team.
