Job Description The Service Asset Manager is responsible for driving lifecycle planning, modernization strategy, and long-term value growth of the company’s installed base of intralogistics automation systems. This role serves as the central owner of asset data, lifecycle intelligence, and modernization planning, working cross-functionally with Service Directors, Service Operations, and Sales to ensure customers’ systems remain reliable, up-to-date, and aligned with evolving operational needs. The position plays a critical role in transforming installed base data into actionable service strategies, enabling proactive lifecycle management, modernization opportunities, and sustainable service revenue growth. Primary Objectives: • Drive effective lifecycle planning for customer assets across the installed base, • Enable installed base growth through modernization, upgrades, and replacement strategies Asset & Lifecycle Management • Maintain and govern the asset registry and lifecycle database for all customer systems and equipment, • Ensure asset data accuracy, completeness, and ongoing updates across the installed base, • Develop multi-year lifecycle, modernization, and replacement plans for customer systems, • Identify aging, obsolete, or high-risk assets and propose mitigation or upgrade strategies, • Support the growth of service and modernization revenue by identifying opportunities within the installed base, • Collaborate with Sales and Service Directors to align lifecycle plans with commercial strategies, • Work closely with Service Directors to align asset strategies with regional and customer-specific service plans, • Coordinate with the Service Operations Manager to ensure lifecycle strategies are operationally feasible, • Develop dashboards and reports related to asset health, lifecycle status, and modernization pipeline, • Track KPIs related to installed base coverage, lifecycle risk, and upgrade penetration The posted salary range reflects the compensation the company reasonably expects to offer for this position. Actual compensation will not be less than the posted minimum and will be based on multiple factors. Qualifications Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)., • 7+ years of experience in asset management, lifecycle management, obsolescence management and installed base management service management, within industrial automation, intralogistics, or related industries, • Strong understanding of long-life industrial systems and service-based business models, • Experience in intralogistics automation (AS/RS, conveyors, sortation, AGVs/AMRs, warehouse control systems), • Familiarity with modernization and retrofit strategies for industrial automation systems, • Experience supporting service sales or installed base development initiatives, • Strong analytical and data management skills, • Ability to translate technical asset data into actionable business strategies, • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive, long-term view of asset performance, • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment Additional Information BEUMER is an innovative company, where every employee is part of the "family". This hands-on position administers drug, alcohol and DNA testing services, provides support to customers and other franchises and completes assigned administrative tasks required to run the lab. This role may also be asked to support the sales staff in conducting telephone sales calls to leads and making appointments. This position requires a high level of customer service, an extremely positive attitude, PC skills and an ability to work without direct supervision after completing your training. Prior medical experience is not necessary; we provide all the training required to become a certified collector/technician. A second language such as Hindi, Gujarati or Spanish is a plus., • Educate clients on testing options and recommend appropriate services, • Promote additional services and packages to walk-in clients, • Support front desk operations and assist with inbound inquiries, • Collect payments from clients before administering a personal test, • Minimum 2 years of work experience (customer service, retail, etc.). Experience in a similar role such as BAT/urine collector or phlebotomist a positive but not required, • Bilingual fluency in English, Spanish, Hindi or Gujarati is a positive, • Male candidates encouraged to apply (for gender-specific testing protocols), • High school diploma or equivalent.
