Nurse Practitioner | Obstetrics and Gynecology Location: Elizabeth, NJ Employer: Alumni Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 30 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Specialty Trinitas Regional Medical Center-AP-Physician-0068 State NJ Location 225 Williamson St Elizabeth New Jersey 07202 Requirements Robert Wood Johnson- Trinitas Regional Medical Center needs 6 APP/APN's for L & D, Post partum, GYN Surgery, OB/GYN ED consults to start as soon as credentialed. * The need is for 6 FULL TIME locums. At this time, please only submit candidates that can cover a full time schedule- 36 hour work weeks.** * Specialty: Obstetrical Services Coverage Dates Needed: June 2026 - ongoing Please list any anticipated procedures/surgeries the provider will be required to perform and anticipated volumes. L&D, post-partum, GYN surgery, OB/GYN ED consults Description of Work Assignment 24/7 -APP or APN in OB/GYN services Breakdown of Clinic Days/Sessions and/or OR Days 12 or 24 hour shifts - at least 3, 12 hour shifts per week Schedule of Days/Times Needed to Work/ Shift Hours Monday-Monday 7:00a-7:00a On call? No Patient Load Unpredictable Board Status Requirement (BC/BE) If APN must have First Assist Cert and produce case logs Is there additional support staff? yes Is the provider working solo or with other providers? If so, whom? OB Attending Physician and CNM each shift Are there Advanced Practice Providers? If yes, is the locums provider responsible for them? Trauma Level of Work Location n/a EMR System? If so, what dates does the committee run? Yes once all necessary paperwork is completed for credentialing Additional questions and info: 1. Clinical Scope What is the approximate % split between L&D, postpartum, GYN surgery, and ED consults? Mainly on L & D. Midwife and Physician who is always on with APP. Cant say exact %. ED Consults are as called. It varies. They will only be OB and GYN. Are providers expected to cover all of these areas, or is there flexibility/specialization? GYN surgery is scheduled, so if the attending needs an APP with them in place of Resident, it will be scheduled. Is first assist required? yes 2. Coverage Model How many APPs are typically on per shift? 1 APP every shift 24/7 Where are the biggest coverage gaps (nights, weekends, specific days)? All over 3. Schedule Are you open to block scheduling? Will be a 40 hour work week. What is the minimum shift or monthly commitment per provider? The need is for 6 full time APPs, working 40 hours a week. Do you have flexibility between 12-hour vs. 24-hour shifts? yes 4. Candidate Profile Are both NPs and PAs accepted? Yes. The APNs need to be certified in first assist. Case logs need to be provided. If there is first assist requirement in L & D, then they need to scrub in.
