Job Description We are seeking an experienced Environmental Remediation Supervisor for our Environmental Construction Department in our Patchogue, NY office. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading field teams conducting various environmental clean-up activities including contaminated soil excavations, installation of remediation systems, site restoration, underground storage tank removals, and small demolitions. Duties: • On-site management of day-to-day operations on remediation projects, • Ensure projects adhere to scope of work and schedule, • Coordinate mobilization/delivery of equipment and materials, • Prepare daily reports for field activities, • Conduct daily safety briefings and ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and OSHA regulations, • Assist Project Managers in development of scope of work, cost estimates and work flow, • Assist in training/mentoring of junior staff Requirements • A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental contracting with supervisory experience, • Ability to interact directly with clients and regulatory agencies, • Strong communication and organizational skills, • A clean, valid driver license. Commercial Driver License (CDL) not required but a plus, • Working knowledge OSHA and DOT regulations, • Ability to travel, • 40 Hour HAZWOER training, • OSHA 10 Hour construction safety training, • OSHA 30 Hour construction safety training a plus, • Experience with NYSDEC standby contracts a plus, • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in an Environmental Discipline a plus Salary Range: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
