About the Role: New York Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join its growing OB/GYN team across multiple locations in Suffolk County, NY. In this outpatient role, the APP will work closely with a team of experienced OB/GYN physicians and other clinical staff to provide high-quality women’s health services, including well-woman exams, prenatal and postpartum care, contraception management, and support for various gynecologic concerns. The provider will work collaboratively with physicians and other members of the care team to deliver exceptional clinical outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on patient satisfaction, quality improvement, and workflow efficiency. Job DescriptionJob description: RN (Licensed Registered Nurse) Part-Time is 24 hours weekly. 1/2 day Friday. We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care under the direction of registered nurses and physicians. Responsibilities: • Administer medications and assist with medication management, • Prepare patients for examinations by physicians and generate lab slips for physicians as needed. Clean, stock and maintain exam rooms as needed. -Records patient care data including detailed history and medical records in EMR • Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms, • Assist physician with procedures -Resource for Medical Assistant and or LPN and other nonclinical office staff for clinical questions. -Work with Medical Assistant and or LPN to treat and nurture patients in a safe and clean manner. -maintain follow-up of medical data such as mammograms, pap smears, dexa scans and other vital clinical information as needed. • create and maintain and follow-up to-do lists for clinical care Experience: • Valid RN license in New York, • Proficient in medication administration and dosage calculations, • Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, • Experience in medical-surgical settings, Women's health, OBGYN preferred, • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills., • Ability to provide compassionate patient-centered care in a safe and calm manner Joining our team offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing valuable experience and professional growth.
