ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assess and prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and patching as needed., • Measure, cut, and install tiles to meet design specifications and space requirements., • Apply adhesives or mortar and position tiles accurately, ensuring proper spacing and alignment using levels and straightedges., • Cut and install intricate tile patterns or mosaics when required., • Apply grout to fill gaps between tiles, ensuring smooth finish., • Perform quality checks on tile installation, addressing any imperfections., • Perform sanding operations using various sanding machines (drum sanders, edge sanders) with different grit sandpapers to smooth floor surfaces, including hard-to-reach areas., • Fill surface imperfections using wood fillers to repair scratches, gaps, or blemishes., • Buff and polish floors with appropriate equipment to achieve a high gloss finish., • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, protecting surrounding areas and removing debris after completion of work., • Performance of duties as assigned.
