Job Description School Psychologist Provide interventions and support services for preschool children which are critical to the child’s success in their educational program. Monitor the development of the children in all developmental domains, with a strong understanding of development, assessment and standardized testing. Requirements · Master’s Degree (60 Credits) in School Psychology – New York State Certification, Ph.D preferred · Experience working with developmentally delayed children. · Strong knowledge base regarding psycho-educational assessment and standardized testing and behavior management techniques for preschool children. · Must be physically able to handle all aspects of the supervision of the day to day activities of preschoolers which may include but not limited to, running, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs. · Bilingual Spanish preferred. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to coach and counsel, interpret and advise. · Strong interpersonal skills in order to communicate with children, families, administration and school districts. · Ability to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously. · Basic Microsoft Office skills required.
