Job Description Job Title: Welder Job Description Join a dynamic manufacturing company specializing in fabricating steel frames and cabinets for server rooms, data centers, and other data storage applications. As a welder, you will be a part of a growing team driven by increasing demands in the data and technology industry. Responsibilities • Perform TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum metals., • Execute straight and plug welds to fabricate frames and shelving according to customer specifications., • Read and interpret blueprints for welding projects., • Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding., • Experience working with stainless steel and aluminum., • Ability to read and interpret blueprints., • Experience in assembly and fabrication. Work Environment Each welder has their own workspace, toolbox, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Welders are expected to maintain a clean and organized work area. Required attire includes gloves, steel toe boots, eye protection, and ear protection as needed. The facility is very clean with ample space for production and materials, and excellent ventilation, especially over the welding area. This opening is for the 1st shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm. We will call you after you apply! Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmingdale, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $25.00/hr.
