The ideal candidate will provide high-level financial support for the business operations, well organized, detail oriented and a proactive professional who can manage multiple high priority deadlines efficiently. Flag any variances and recommend necessary actions · Track lien waivers, insurance certificates, file NYS sales tax, manage 1099 filings and work as a liaison with annual audit Qualifications 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience (construction industry preferred). Fluent professional English, both spoken and written. Understanding of accrual accounting, job costing, and progress billing principles. Proficient with QuickBooks Online and Excel. Ability to quickly learn industry-specific software (e.g., Buildertrend, CoConstruct). Associates degree required in related field, Bachelor’s degree a plus.
