This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, transactional environment and already knows the buyers in the market. You will use an existing network to move uncommitted products, negotiate daily, and close deals quickly. This position rewards activity, persistence, and strong market instincts. Results are clear, measurable, and volume driven. Job description • Sell excess and uncommitted beef on the open and spot market., • Leverage an active book of business where buyers respond and transact., • Execute high-volume daily outreach through calls, quotes, and follow-ups., • Open new commodity accounts and guide customers through credit approval., • Negotiate pricing, specifications, freight, and delivery timing., • Close short-cycle deals and drive repeat weekly volume., • Manage frequent rejection and maintain consistent selling momentum., • Coordinate internally on supply availability, cut specs, and movement needs., • Track activity, accounts opened, and pounds sold., • Experience selling commodity beef or similar protein products., • Active, current network of commodity buyers and decision-makers., • Strong negotiation skills in price-driven environments., • Comfort with daily transactional selling and rejection., • Ability to work independently with minimal structure., • Working knowledge of open market and spot market dynamics.
