Job DescriptionReal Estate Attorney-Transactional Real Estate Attorney - Transactional Location: Corpus Christi, TX (onsite) Salary: $120k-$160k/yr Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Real Estate Attorney with strong transactional and business acumen to support and advise clients on a wide range of commercial and residential real estate matters. The attorney will manage real estate transactions from contract negotiation through closing, perform due diligence and title review, structure deals, mitigate legal risk, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve clients business objectives. The role requires a practical, client-focused lawyer able to provide clear legal guidance tied to business goals. Key Responsibilities • Draft, review and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, easement agreements, financing documents, and other real estate-related contracts., • Conduct and coordinate title examinations, due diligence, surveys, and environmental reviews and resolve issues that could impact transactions., • Advise clients on deal structure, risk allocation, corporate and financing implications, and regulatory and zoning compliance., • Manage and coordinate closings with lenders, title companies, brokers, escrow agents, and other counsel to ensure smooth and timely completion of transactions., • Prepare and review closing documents, resolve outstanding conditions, and confirm proper recording and post-closing matters., • Provide strategic counsel to clients on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, joint ventures, and property management issues., • Collaborate with in-house business teams, brokers, lenders, and outside counsel to align legal work with commercial objectives and timelines., • Identify and mitigate legal risks, escalate complex issues, and develop practical, business-oriented solutions for clients., • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar in which the attorney will practice., • 3+ years of experience practicing real estate transactional law, with demonstrated experience in commercial and/or residential transactions., • Proven experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, loan documents, easements, and closing documentation., • Strong knowledge of title work, due diligence processes, zoning and land use, and real estate financing structures., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in practical business terms., • Strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously., • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to work collaboratively with clients, brokers, lenders, and cross-functional teams., • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced transactional environment. - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
