Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Stepdown, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 11/10/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel Job Title: RN - Stepdown - Contract - MSHPosition Details: • Number of Positions: 1, • Remaining Positions: 1, • Location: Mount Sinai Hospital, 1468 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10029, • Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 3 days/week, 34.5 hours/week, • Contract Duration: 11/10/2025 – 02/07/2026, • Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, • Deliver patient care using Relationship Centered Care and nursing process based on evidence-based practice and standards., • Assess and evaluate patient care needs with critical thinking., • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and evaluate care plans., • Educate patients and caregivers on care plans, health promotion, and disease prevention., • Role model Mount Sinai Relationship Centered Care practices including hourly rounding and bedside reports., • Maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families., • Address patient concerns and escalate as necessary., • Practice safe, efficient, patient-centered care., • Participate in quality improvement projects and institutional review processes., • Identify and escalate safety hazards following institutional protocols., • Perform charge nurse duties as assigned., • Coordinate supply management and escalate shortages., • Document accurately following hospital and regulatory standards., • Support clinical colleagues and the healthcare team., • Advance clinical competence and project a professional image., • Incorporate ethical decision-making., • Engage in lifelong learning and shared decision-making through committees.Skills & Qualifications:, • NYS RN License, • BLS Certification, • Minimum 2 years cardiology, telemetry, and VAD experience, • Minimum 2 years RN experience, • Travel experience preferred (1 year) but not required for Per Diem, • EPIC experience highly preferred Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
