For more information, please visit and . Position Overview: This position executes manufacturing operations on prototype and research samples, as directed by the Prototype Lead. The technician is also responsible for documenting equipment parameters, recipes, and key attributes for completed operations. Key Responsibilities: • Perform tasks tied to sample requests, work orders, leadership, support engineering, graphics, supply chain, sales, and other internal groups as needed., • Independently execute the following operations for all product types:, • Machine set-up, shut down, and changeover, • Stamping and embedding, • Final inspection and packing, • CNC milling / engraving, • Material preparation: sub assembly/surface finishes, • Industrial inkjet, • Laser cutting, • Tacking, • Lamination, • Precision leveling, • Laser engraving, • Perform quality checks including reviewing current part with proof for product accuracy, • Understand expectations of work instruction set, • Document all parameters and processes for future repeatability, • Ensure high quality of all products while continually verifying accuracy of settings, • Record processing/quality issues and resolution, • Elevate to manager any manufacturing or equipment concerns, • Coordinate with other team members within the prototype group, • Maintain inventory and retain control, • Update project status tracking software, • Identify and understand various materials used in build, • Work with team to match previously targeted color samples, • Assist production when necessary Other Important Responsibilities: • Timely corrective action response and resolution to relevant project situations, • Engage and support companywide safety and cleanliness programs, • Operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently, • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned Qualifications: • Minimum 3 years of work experience, • Associate degree in related field preferred, • Enthusiastic attitude, flexible to new or changing circumstances, professional demeanor, sensitive to client needs, self-motivated, creative and innovative, • Ability to function as an active team member with limited supervision, • Excellent communication, problem solving, and time management skills, • Strong attention to detail and ability to self-check own work, • Task oriented with superior organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload, • Ability to accept responsibility and account for own actions, • Capable of understanding and carrying out oral and written directives, • Computer literacy including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, • Medical, Dental & Vision Coverage, • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), • Company-Paid Life and Disability Insurance, • 401(k) with Company Match, • Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays, • Annual Bonus Opportunities, • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Please note: CompoSecure does not accept unsolicited resumes from staffing agencies or third-party recruiters.
