Job Description Responsible for maintaining and expanding an identified territory that includes a variety of account sizes. This role typically involves managing critical accounts and/or complex products, necessitating advanced client relationship skills to sustain competitive positioning. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: • Specialize in the selling of premium value-added and customized packaging solutions to agriculture related customers, • Identify and drive new business to customers who value expert partnership, outstanding service and high quality products and results, • Generate revenue and profitability through the creation of new business development in a geographical territory from first pitch to delivery in an independent leader role, • Create and build a sales strategy to identify leads, opportunities and a robust sales pipeline to build out the territory, • Research and create leads through networking, cold calling, and online research, • Outreach and engage new customer acquisition through relationship building, understanding customer values, needs and pain points, • Communicate innovative and customized solutions with that meets customer desired results, • Deliver outstanding service with effective sales techniques, • Navigate customer organizational structure and build relationships at multiple levels and in different functions, • Understand complex requirements from customers for preparation of customized quoting, • Deliver outstanding service internally to cross functional partners (design, manufacturing, sales support, etc) and peer team mates, • Track market trends and develop competitive insights to be shared among the sales team, • Manage orders to ensure items are processed and delivered in a timely manner, quality of products, invoices are paid within the payment terms, and the overall satisfaction of the customer, • Utilize Salesforce to manage customer communications on a daily basis, • 8 – 10 Sales experience in corrugated container or similar fields., • Minimum High School or GED, • Valid driver's license, • Self motivated and self driven to lead job with minimal oversight, • Drive to identify and prospect new business with minimal oversight, • Expertise and confidence to lead a end-to-end sales process with minimal oversight; act as owner and decision maker to client stakeholders, • Demonstrates strong negotiation skills and excels at using persuasive techniques to sell products., • Exhibits excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills, effectively engaging, • With both internal and external customers through verbal and written communication., • Thinks creatively and innovatively, often approaching problems from unique perspectives., • Works independently, completing assignments within standard accepted practices., • Performs basic math calculations, including fractions, percentages, and ratios., • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work environments, management styles, and business trends. “Actual salary/hourly wages rates are determined upon a variety of factors such as level of experience, skill, education and/or certifications; location and position pay range; and organizational internal equity factors.” Well what is this job really about?
