GTM Insurance Agency LLC is seeking an experienced and client-focused Benefits Account Manager to join our growing team. About the Role As a Benefits Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our group benefits clients. You'll take the lead in managing day-to-day service needs, coordinating renewals, and ensuring clients receive timely, compliant, and high-quality support across their benefit programs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building strong relationships, solving problems, and delivering a stellar client experience. What You'll Do • Act as the main liaison between clients, carriers, and internal teams for all benefit-related matters, • Manage a variety of group benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits, • Coordinate and execute the renewal process: collect quotes, create proposals, and present strategic recommendations, • Lead open enrollment planning, employee education sessions, and onboarding support, • Troubleshoot billing, eligibility, claims, and enrollment issues with carriers and vendors, • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of all client materials, including compliance notices and plan documents, • Keep up-to-date with regulatory requirements (ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA) and advise clients accordingly, • Maintain detailed records in the agency management system, • Support Producers in developing benefit strategies for prospective clients, • Work collaboratively with Account Executives, Producers, and Compliance Specialists What You Bring • 2-4 years of experience in group benefits, insurance, or HR benefits administration, • Deep understanding of group benefits products, quoting practices, and compliance requirements, • Familiarity with underwriting, renewal cycles, and benefits documentation, • Strong communication and relationship management skills, • High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving ability, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of agency management systems (such as Applied Epic) a plus, • Life & Health Insurance License (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire), • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or a related field preferred What Success Looks Like • Clients view you as a trusted advisor and consistently rely on your expertise, • You proactively anticipate client needs and resolve issues before they arise, • You make insurance concepts easy to understand and actionable for clients, • Your organizational and time-management skills allow you to juggle multiple priorities smoothly Why Join GTM Insurance Agency?
