TSINY is looking for Front Desk Staff for one of our mental health residential programs located in Queens, NY. Annual Salary: $22, Part-Time. (Set shift Saturday and Sunday, 4pm to 12am) Position Summary Assure the safety of residents by monitoring them entering and leaving the building. Provide ongoing support to residents by documenting medications, medical referral information, appointments, any other pertinent information and behaviors. Perform various weekly and monthly charting and reports as necessary to maintain the daily functioning of the program. Work in conjunction with case management staff to assure residents’ services and treatment goals are met. Essential Functions • Distribute resident mail., • Sign guests in and out., • Monitor safety of the building., • Be responsible for general administrative duties, including answering phones, filing and assisting program staff in day-to-day activities., • Type correspondence as requested., • Assist clients in developing skills, direction and motivation., • Assist residents to develop life skills in the direction of maximum autonomy., • Provide crisis management when required., • Be able to sit or stand as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation., • May require walking, primarily on a level surface, for short periods throughout the day, with or without reasonable accommodation., • Be able to reach above shoulder heights, below the waist or lift as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday, with or without reasonable accommodation., • During a declared disaster, assume and adhere to assigned Job Action role(s) consistent with Disaster Preparedness Plan.
