Were looking for a skilled, detail-focused Senior Loan Documentation & Compliance Specialist with working knowledge of LaserPro to support the goals of the Loan Administration Department and RiverBank with responsibilities that include loan documentation preparation, quality control review and ensuring compliance with federal and state lending regulations. Key Responsibilities: Loan Documentation & Processing • Working knowledge of LaserPro lending platform along with general system setup., • Prepare, generate and review commercial and consumer loan documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to bank policy and state & federal laws., • Ensure loan packages are complete and include all proper documentation and disclosures prior to funding and closing. Loan Compliance • Monitor and interpret federal and state lending laws and regulations including (but not limited to) Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) and Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of consumer lending policies and procedures., • Support internal and external audits and regulator examinations by gathering documentation and responding to compliance related inquiries. Quality Control & Maintenance • Perform pre- and post-closing reviews to identify discrepancies and report findings to the appropriate departments., • Manage ongoing loan servicing activities, such as processing loan payments, preparing loan notices and dealer flooring transactions (advances, payoffs, monthly audits)., • Preform other duties as assigned in support of the Loan Administration department. Insurance Oversight • Review and update insurance certificates in AccuSystem., • Coordinate with Lending staff and borrowers to obtain valid proof of insurance; assist in placing force-placed insurance when necessary., • Verify insurance documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal Loan Policy. Backup & Cross-Functional Support • Provide backup coverage for the Loan Administration Manager., • Support the Chief Credit Officer / Credit Administration Officer with special projects, audits, or departmental initiatives as needed. Minimum Qualifications: • 35 years of experience in commercial loan processing or loan operations in a financial institution., • Familiarity with commercial lending regulations and loan servicing best practices., • Strong understanding of commercial and consumer loan documentation and regulatory compliance., • Sharp attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines., • Comfortable working across multiple systems and platforms; experience with Finastra, LaserPro, or AccuSystem is a plus., • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal., • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment., • Previous banking, loan documentation or loan servicing experience. Prefer at least three to four years general banking experience with two years loan documentation experience and one year loan servicing experience., • Possess a thorough knowledge of entity documentation; commercial, agricultural, consumer, real estate, SBA, Letters of Credit, and Participation loan documentation policies, practices, related regulations; and operational aspects of the loan process., • Possess and demonstrate an ability to understand financial covenants., • Must be proficient in the operational and technical aspects of Laser Pro and iCore (or other similar loan accounting system)., • Must possess and demonstrate strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to pull required information from source documents to determine proper requirements for complete and accurate loan documentation and loan system input., • Ability to exhibit leadership qualities and provide support and assistance to others with problem resolution, from routine to complex; and assist in providing training to Bank personnel as directed., • Must be self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail and meeting timeframes. Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and handle interruptions., • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including telephone etiquette., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products., • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, and loan origination platforms., • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
