Title: Statistician - III (Senior) Duration: 12 months Contract Location: Rahway, NJ Open to Hybrid Pay Range- $60 - $65 per hour on W2. Description: Education and Minimum Requirement: • PhD or equivalent degree in statistics/biostatistics or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience, or MS in Statistics/Applied Statistics with a minimum of 6 years relevant work experience. Skill sets required: • Knowledge of SAS, R and JMP necessary, • Proven experience in analytical method qualification and validation, encompassing protocol development and statistical analysis., • Design experiments for analytical applications, focusing on assay robustness, qualification, and validation. Nice to have/preferred: • Mixed-effect modelling, • Bayesian analysis, • Proficient in developing statistical software code to automate routine analyses for the statistical team or other internal groups., • Proven presentation skills – including presentation to articulate statistical results to management. Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities: • Develop study design (DOE), statistical analysis, and reported output using in-house developed JMP tools in fast-paced, critical path projects., • Participate in process characterization teams to understand requirements to design study experiments and discuss results. Experiment design entails having joint conversations with the Process scientists/engineers to discuss the issues and constraints on study design and execution., • Work with Process Scientists/Engineers to complete study reports as needed. Qualifications: • Minimum education: Master's in statistics/biostatistics or related discipline (e.g., chemical, industrial engineering) with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, or PhD or equivalent degree with a minimum of 1 year relevant work experience., • Proven experience applying DOE to real-life process development problems., • Solid knowledge of statistical analysis methodologies and experimental design., • Strong hands-on experience with JMP and working knowledge of other statistical and data processing software (e.g., Minitab), • Must also demonstrate the ability to learn, be proactive and motivated, and consistently focus on details and execution., • Strong oral and written communication skills.
