They must also be comfortable loading/unloading their truck at multiple stops during their routes. We have 2021 automatic transmission day cab tractors and 36, 38, 48- foot refrigerated trailers with liftgate. These ladders could range in weight from 10 to 125 pounds. · Changing panels of glass ranging in weight from 10 to 40 pounds is require and may require the use of a ladder to accomplish the task. · Pool maintenance is a big responsibility and often requires you to lift and / or transport 100-pound drums of granular chlorine, 50-pound drums of stick chlorine, and 50-pound bags of soda ash or bicarbonate of soda. You are responsible for replacing pool pump room motors and pumps. These pumps and motors could range from 25 to 200 pounds, depending on the size required. · As part of your daily maintenance routine, you may be required to move appliances from one apartment to another apartment on opposite ends of the community. The appliance may have to be transported by means of a hand truck up one to three flights of steps. These appliances will range in weight from 75 to over 200 pounds. · Our commercial laundry rooms are equipped with single washing machines and / or stacked (double) clothes dryers, which you will be required to move in order to repair and perform preventative maintenance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES · Conduct professional product presentations to current Retail customers · Stimulate market growth through new distribution and coverage in independent Retail C-Stores that are supplied by cash & carry and c-store distributors in assigned geography · Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long lasting relationships · Achieving sales goals and brand building presence and merchandising · Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments · Assists customers with ordering information and configurations; provides quotations on customer requirements and provides appropriate follow up · Utilize iPad technology for reporting all inventory/sales made daily and weekly · Performs any other appropriately related duty as requested by the Sales Manager · Be able to drive a company van (Ford Transit, Connect or similar) throughout the work day · Manage cash and client product inventory · Must have a valid driver’s license · Ability to follow navigation/directions, communicate, and solve customer challenges that might arise · Be able to lift up to 30lbs · Be able to push/pull up to 80 lbs QUALIFICATIONS PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS · Be able to bend/stoop/squat/kneel throughout the work day · Be able to push/pull/reach/twist · The ideal candidate will have driven a Sprinter Van, Box Truck, Straight Truck, Step Van or like larger vehicles · Be able to lift up to 30lbs EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE · High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience required · 1-2 year’s sales related and/or consumer goods industry experience preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES · Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational and sales skills with the ability to work effectively with team members, peers, management and external customer contacts · Must be able to read and follow a plan-o-gram (POG) • Must possess good problem-solving skills, • Must be able to use an iPad/Tablet, • Must have trip planning skills and comfort with driving a commercial van (Ford Transit Connect or similar) Salary Range: $42,000-$45,000 annually Acosta Sales & Marketing is an Equal Opportunity Employer By submitting your application you agree with and accept the Acosta Privacy Statement and Terms of Conditions.
