About the Position The Project Coordinator plays a key role in managing internal operations throughout the customer lifecycle—from proposal through project closeout—while supporting both operational and basic technical needs. This position ensures smooth cross-department coordination, helps deliver projects on time and on budget, and contributes to a high-quality customer experience. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and technically inclined, with the ability to assist customers and internal teams by providing basic phone-based troubleshooting for low voltage systems such as audio visual, structured cabling, and security. This role bridges project coordination, customer communication, and light technical support in a fast-paced commercial integration environment. Responsibilities: • Manage the full project lifecycle, including proposal support, procurement, scheduling, installation, service coordination, and project closeout., • Serve as a point of contact for basic technical troubleshooting, assisting customers or internal teams by phone with initial diagnostics for audio visual, structured cabling, or security-related issues., • Walk customers or technicians through simple troubleshooting steps (e.g., checking connections, power, signal flow, or basic configuration) and escalate issues appropriately when advanced technical support or onsite service is required., • Coordinate with field teams, warehouse, dispatch, technicians, and management to ensure each project phase runs smoothly., • Allocate resources, manage tasks, and maintain project timelines and budgets., • Review and reconcile daily technician reports with internal systems and project analytics., • Identify and resolve operational or technical issues using a strategic, solutions-oriented approach., • Prepare and present weekly project status updates, including completion percentages, milestones, and outstanding issues., • Analyze system-generated profitability reports and provide weekly project health summaries to management., • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures., • Partner with Finance to confirm job completion percentages and support timely, accurate billing., • Communicate clearly and consistently with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout all project stages. Qualifications: • Exceptional multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills, • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including comfort providing phone-based technical guidance, • Technical aptitude with a working understanding of low voltage systems such as:, • Structured cabling, • Audio visual systems, • Commercial security systems, • Ability to diagnose basic system issues and determine appropriate next steps, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, • Experience working with CRM and ERP systems (ConnectWise experience is a strong plus), • Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining professionalism, • Proven experience in the commercial low voltage industry, • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Salary: $60,000.00-$70,000.00/year Position Type: Full-Time, In-Person We are currently only considering candidates who already live within commuting distance of our office. This role is not open to relocation and relocation assistance is not provided.
