Job Description About Finish Line: Finish Line Technologies, Inc. develops premium quality and performance enhancing lubricants and related products for the bicycle, automotive, and hardware industries. Our consumer products are marketed under several brands and sold worldwide. Position Summary: We are looking for an ambitious accounting and finance professional who will manage the financial operations of the company. This is a hands-on position which encompasses day-to-day operational responsibilities coupled with involvement in strategic planning decisions for business growth. Responsibilities: · Oversee all accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, EDI, Order entry, and human resources. · Manage and mentor a staff of four employees. · Prepare payroll, customer credits, commissions, bank reconciliations, royalty reports. · Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP working closely with our CPA firm during our annual certified audit. · Prepare reports for the bank as requested and work directly with our loan officer. · Daily management of cash flow which includes reviewing and approving vendor payments, overseeing collection of accounts receivable, and monitoring our D&B rating. · Prepare sales tax and excise tax returns. · Prepare and maintain patent and trademark spreadsheet and work with our patent attorney to ensure maintenance fees on patents and trademarks are paid. · Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. · Develop financial budgets and monitor actual results compared to budgeted amounts. · Maintain all insurance policies (general liability, credit insurance, medical, long & short-term disability, life insurance, worker’s comp) · Work with outsourced IT company to ensure company network is secure and computer equipment functions properly. · Oversee the 401K plan including employee enrollment, remitting employee and company contributions, loan requests, annual Form 5500 filing. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
