Job Description Position Summary: Provides underwriting support, counsel, and authorization to company personnel, and agents related to the issuance of real estate title insurance commitments and policies. Utilizes underwriting standards and guidelines within delegated authority limits, to underwrite the issuance of title insurance Provides guidance to company personnel in the performance of real estate settlement services Issues underwriting standards and guidelines in accordance with established company processes Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Determine the conditions of the title and insurability by considering the effect of documents such as deeds, mechanics liens, tax liens, judgments, assessments, probates and other matters of record, • Protect the company from risk by analyzing recorded documents for ownership accuracy, legal description precision, and potential impact on title. Serving youth from varying points of entry with the child welfare system, juvenile justice system, and runaway and homeless youth/young adults, the opportunities to alter the trajectory for youth in need are abundant. Hope For Youth's Adolescent Diagnostic and Respite Services Program ("Diagnostic") provides respite, emergency and diagnostic services for up to 12 youth, co-ed, from ages 12-20. Youth are referred through Nassau and Suffolk Department of Social Services, Probation and the Crisis Bed Network. The Diagnostic Program Manager will oversee all case management services, aftercare services, prepare psychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations. The Program Manger provides direct supervision to Assistant Program Manager, Case Worker and Case Worker Assistant. The Program Manager is instrumental in maintaining the overall functions of the program with the assistance of the Assistant Program Manager. Key Responsibilities To be successful in this role, you must be ready, willing, and able to: • Function within the policies and procedures outlined in the Program Practice Guide and Employee Manual., • Provide overall management of your assigned site., • Complete reports, case documentation, and psychosocial assessments., • Liaise with DSS, schools, and collateral contacts., • Deliver crisis intervention and counseling when needed., • Supervise, coach, and provide staff with the knowledge and tools to succeed., • Develop discharge plans and provide 6 months of aftercare services., • Conduct home visits as necessary., • 50% General casework, documentation, and reports, • 20% Supporting youth, • 20% Supporting staff, • LMSW required; LCSW preferred, • 2 years' post-master's experience with child-serving systems (child welfare, juvenile justice, etc.), • Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, and reporting portals), • Valid NYS driver's license in good standing, • Access to a reliable vehicle, • Ability to provide 24/7 on-call availability during the week; participate in weekend on-call rotation Physical Requirements • Operate a motor vehicle carrying up to 10 children/youth, • Lift/move up to 50 lbs., • Escort children/youth into the community (including stairs if necessary), • Restrain a child/youth during a crisis, when required, • Regular walking/standing, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, reaching overhead, and repetitive wrist/finger movements, • Ability to read/write reports and log entries This opportunity is being offered as Full Time 35/hr. workweek Only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
