Job Description Kisnn Associates, Inc. a service organization focused on Transportation Operations, Transportation Planning, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and Work Zone Planning activities is soliciting resumes to fill Operation Analyst positions at one of their client’s offices located in Jersey City, New Jersey. Job Description/Responsibilities This position requires working in rotating shifts, providing for coverage 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. The Analysts are responsible for gathering and analyzing information on real-time conditions on the transportation network in NY/NJ/CT. This information is obtained from a wide range of sources, including transportation agency contacts, police/local agency contacts, scanners, and various Intelligent Transportation Systems implemented in the operations center. The Analysts confirm the information with the operator of the facility involved, evaluate the significance of the incident and its effect on various agencies, distribute the information to the affected agencies, and provide follow-up support and information to all agencies. The Analysts are responsible for identifying ways for agencies to notify the public of transportation-related problems by facilitating the sharing of resources such as variable message signs (VMS) among the agencies. The Analysts also monitor and operate the client’s Intelligent Transportation Systems (including but not limited to Closed-Circuit Television, Probe Based Travel Time System, VMS, and Event Management Systems) to rapidly obtain information on the regional transportation network, distinguish false alarms from actual incidents, ensure that the appropriate operating and police agencies are notified, and provide accurate and timely information to the agencies. The Analysts are responsible for maintaining accurate logs of all actions taken related to their functions during their shifts. The Analysts are also responsible for identifying, and performing preliminary troubleshooting of, mechanical, electrical, or system problems that may cause false alarms or missed incidents, or otherwise render the systems ineffective. This position may be located at one of their client’s offices. Minimum Qualifications • Ability to read/comprehend/understand maps (GIS/GPS), • Knowledge of the transportation networks a) Ability to identify most major bridges/tunnels & interstates throughout the NY/NJ/CT region. b) General familiarity with transit systems (major transit hubs, as well as, associated lines/branches for the various commuter rail lines., • Ability to analyze data (graphs, trends, information on maps, charts, etc.), • Computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Word with working knowledge of other products including Excel, PowerPoint)., • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work in high pressure situations., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Self-starter and ability to work independently and as part of a team, • Comply with client’s Administrative & ITS Policies and Procedures, • Understand concept of a 24/7/365 workplace - Rotating shifts; Potential for mandatory Overtime; Work holidays; Work weekends; Work extended shifts (12 hours), • Familiarity with traveler information systems (511, travel time information, speed data), • Prior experience in a traffic operations center, • Familiarity with transportation jargon (ITS, ICM, Connected Vehicle systems), • Strong knowledge of NY/NJ/CT roadways, bridges and tunnels, • Monitoring/understand broadcasts (TV, radio traffic reports, Police & Fire scanners)

This creator will utilize their storytelling and editing expertise to develop original content for broadcast distribution in the U.S. and internationally as well for our digital platforms. The candidate must have experience producing and editing short and longform sports content using the Adobe Suite, a strong knowledge of digital tools, a creative eye and work well in both an individual and team environment. Key Responsibilities: • Create, prep & edit content for original series and live events for broadcast & digital using Adobe (Premiere, After Effects & Photoshop), • Edit footage according to scripts, formats & production guidelines, • Write show scripts & voice over notes, • Create (write and edit) promo spots, documentary segments and sizzle reels utilizing appropriate music libraries and our SAN, • Edit features for live events as well as cutdowns and highlights from Live Events, • Deliver final productions with the required broadcast and digital specifications, • Collaborate with other team members to deliver a shared vision, • Ensure assets are delivered without any issues and on time, • Stay current with the latest software and AI to recommend improvements to the editing workflow Qualifications: • 5+ years' experience producing, editing & creating graphics/animations for a post-production house or network, • Portfolio of high-end work including promos, features, documentary segments and sizzle reels, • Must be proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop), • Expertise in delivering assets in the proper video & audio specs for broadcast and digital platforms, • Experience editing boxing and/or MMA content for broadcast and digital is preferred, • Excellent oral and written communication skills, • Work well in a fast-paced and changing environment, • Highly organized (especially within Adobe) and meticulous attention to detail, • Capable of handling various responsibilities and multiple projects simultaneously, • Ability to work in our Jersey office 5 days a week and after normal business hours as needed to meet tight deadlines Compensation is commensurate with experience.
