Click here to learn a bit about our team! Summary We’re looking for a curious, hands-on Project Accountant who loves connecting the dots between numbers and stories. You’ll be part of a growing finance team that thrives on solving puzzles, streamlining processes, and bringing structure to creative chaos. Your work will directly fuel our storytelling - every project you help track and every insight you uncover ensures our creatives can focus on what they do best: creating impact through story. You’ll play a key role in managing the integrity of the general ledger, supporting project-level accounting, and delivering accurate, insightful reporting that supports business decisions. This is an experienced role reporting to the VP of Finance, ideal for someone ready to own key accounting processes, influence how our systems evolve, and make finance a true creative partner across the studio located in Atlanta, GA. What You'll Do: • Own and continuously improve the monthly close process - finding smarter, faster ways to deliver accurate results., • Dive into project data to uncover insights that help creative and production teams make better financial decisions., • Track and reconcile project-level costs, labor allocations, and vendor activity., • Experiment with systems integrations to make our reporting more connected and intuitive., • Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and accounting policies., • Collaborate with creative and production teams to translate financial outcomes into stories and strategies., • Collaborate with project managers and other teams to ensure project costs and revenue are accurately captured and forecasted., • Support vendor and customer workflows, including expense reports, A/P, A/R processes., • Assist with audit preparation, tax support, and ad hoc financial reports., • Other ad hoc projects as assigned.What Success Looks Like:, • You’ve made the monthly close process faster and more accurate through smarter systems or workflows., • Project managers rely on your insights to understand costs, margins, and performance., • Finance and creative teams trust you as a problem-solver who brings clarity to complexity., • You identify process improvements proactively — and make them happen.What We'll Love About You:, • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field., • 3+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience, ideally in a dynamic, fast-paced environment., • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP., • Experience using multiple financial and non-financial systems (e.g. Quickbooks Online, Concur, PipeDrive, Monday, Slack, Looker Studio, etc.)., • Proven ability to perform high-quality, detailed work with minimal supervision., • Advanced Excel and analytical skills; comfortable working with large data sets., • Project accounting experience is strongly preferred., • You’re naturally curious - you don’t just report numbers; you want to understand why they look the way they do., • You’re a problem-solver who enjoys diving into new systems or messy data sets and emerging with clarity., • You see ambiguity as opportunity - a chance to build or improve something that didn’t exist before., • You take ownership and pride in your work and communicate clearly with others.What You'll Love About Us:, • A culture that encourages experimentation and learning - if you see a better way, we want to hear it., • Opportunities to shape financial systems and processes as we scale, • Access to cross-functional projects that let you stretch beyond accounting and explore how our business runs end-to-end, • Competitive salary, • Health, vision, dental insurance, • Unlimited PTO, • Robust 401k with company-matching, • Flexible working schedule + a hybrid-friendly environment, • Frequent team activities to keep spirits high, • Professional growth + internal educational events, • Dog-friendly officeBonus Points, • Knowledge of film tax credit laws - Georgia and other states, • Masters Degree
