Our program serves preschool-aged children with developmental delays and disabilities in a nurturing, child-centered environment designed to foster communication, independence, and school readiness. The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide evaluations, therapy services, consultation, and collaboration to support students in achieving their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. This role works closely with teachers, occupational therapists, psychologists, physical therapists, administrators, and families to help children strengthen communication skills and succeed in the classroom and daily life. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, compassionate, and passionate about supporting communication development in young children. Responsibilities • Conduct speech and language evaluations for preschool-aged children in accordance with CPSE and NYSED requirements, • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals, • Provide direct speech-language therapy services in individual, classroom, and small-group settings, • Support students with expressive language, receptive language, articulation, pragmatic language, social communication, feeding (if applicable), and overall communication development, • Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to support student progress across environments, • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including session notes, annual reviews, quarterly progress reports, and required compliance paperwork, • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, annual reviews, and CPSE-related discussions when needed, • Assist with AAC implementation, communication supports, and classroom language strategies as appropriate, • Maintain compliance with NYSED, 4410 Preschool Special Education, and program requirements Qualifications • Current New York State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist required, • TSSLD or Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities certification preferred (if applicable), • Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates welcome to apply with supervision available, • Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred, • Experience with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, AAC devices, or special education populations preferred, • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, • Compassionate, child-centered, and team-oriented approach Position Details • Full-Time, Part-Time, and Contract Opportunities Available, • Immediate Openings Available, • School-Year and Summer Positions Available, • Competitive Salary or Independent Contractor Opportunities Available Based on Experience Join the Kidtastic Kids team and make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families every day!
