We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our client’s Urology Surgery team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with leading urologists in providing exceptional patient care in both preoperative and postoperative settings. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in urology, possess excellent surgical skills, and be committed to delivering compassionate and patient-centered care. Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations., • Collaborate with urologists to determine the appropriateness of surgical interventions., • Educate patients on surgical procedures, potential risks, and postoperative care., • Assist urologists during surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile and safe environment., • Manage intraoperative patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as needed., • Provide support in the coordination of surgical instruments and equipment., • Monitor and manage patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) or recovery room., • Assess and address postoperative complications or concerns promptly., • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive postoperative care plans., • Educate patients on postoperative care instructions, medications, and potential side effects., • Provide information on lifestyle modifications and preventive measures to promote optimal urological health., • Work collaboratively with urologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care., • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans., • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including preoperative assessments, intraoperative notes, and postoperative care documentation., • Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant., • Certification in urology or a related field is highly desirable., • Previous experience in urology, surgery, or a first assist is required., • Must speak Spanish or Russian fluently., • Strong interpersonal and communication skills., • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment., • Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
