Job Description Position Title: UX Designer Reports to: Director, Creative Services Department: Marketing, Creative Services Location: Minneapolis, MN OR Summit, New Jersey Classification: Full-time, in-office Summary / Job Objective: Simplicity Group is seeking a creative and collaborative UX designer to join our creative services team. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a passion for aligning design with functionality to create a positive user experience. This role requires proficiency in Salesforce and HTML/CSS/or the ability to communicate effectively with developers. Familiarity with design systems and front-end implementation tools is also required, along with strong visual design skills. Essential Job Functions: As a UX designer, you will help define and improve the usability and effectiveness of our digital products (e.g., advisor/agent portals, internal tools, and applications) through process, structure, research, and execution. Your essential functions will center on ensuring our internal platforms are intuitive, efficient, and meet user needs. Your daily tasks will include conducting foundational research to analyze current and future user journeys, developing interactive prototypes to test user interactions, and testing the overall usability of our systems. You will own all of the journeys of our payment and fraud workstreamsfrom Cashier UI/UX, Customer Intelligence Platform, Routing and Orchestration, Finance, and Risk Engine while driving major improvements in platform reliability, card acceptance, fraud monitoring, and cost reduction. You have the strategy and leadership to thrive in complex environments, understand the nuances of payments and fraud, and can build scalable systems that support growth, and compliance to create fast and easy onboarding experiences which delight our customers while maintaining our operational excellence. This position sits at the intersection of Growth, Compliance, Risk, Fraud, Payments, Marketing/Martech, Engineering, Data Science, UX Research, and Customer Operations. You'll define the product strategy and roadmap, lead a team of Product Managers, and drive measurable impact across growth, trust, and operational efficiency. • Lead the product strategy and roadmap for our Payments and Risk Platforms. Your ownership, vision, and ability to deliver will directly impact several KPIs such as:, • Payment transactions including deposit and withdrawals, • Product Fraud and risk mitigation, • Transaction integrity and intelligence, • Treasury, settlements and reconciliation, • Operational dashboards, data and reporting, • Monitor, adjust and improve payment success rates, reduce friction, and optimize payment routing., • Cultivate strategic alignment across Risk, Compliance, and Finance to ensure safe, compliant, and scalable operations., • Communicate clear, data backed recommendations and tradeoffs to senior leadership, • Build, monitor and communicate results of real-time visibility into funnel health and account outcomes (dashboards, leading indicators, anomaly detection, alerting), • Champion a customer first, research driven culture while balancing risk/fraud and regulatory constraints, • Build a collaborative team culture that encourages open communication, innovation and career growth while holding Product Managers accountable and striving for excellence, • 10+ years in years developing successful digital products, including 5+ years managing Product Managers, • Expertise in designing, launching and optimizing large-scale Payment and Fraud platforms in highly regulated (AML) digital industries (e.g., online gaming, fintech, banking, payments, identity), • Expertise in creating and?maintaining roadmaps, while also training direct reports on best practices, • Ability to write descriptive narratives which demonstrate your knowledge of the problem, strategies, risks, and data which helped formulate the proposed solution or feature, • Track record of leading and delivering large-scale products from conception through to completion?, • Proven ability to engage Data Scientists and ML teams on predictive or automated capabilities, • Experience in Agile software product delivery, preferably in a scrum setting using?Jira??, • Expertise in funnel analytics, experimentation, and data-driven product development, • Executive level communication and storytelling to offer effective updates and streamline communication to a broad audience ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS • Experience with vendor orchestration, model monitoring, and risk decisioning platforms, • Background building platform capabilities (rules engines, feature stores, experimentation frameworks), • Find complex problems with numerous restraints exciting; and not daunting, • Enjoy learning new skills and are passionate about new developments in?technology?, • You are highly motivated individual, who wants to work with the best and be the?best?, • Ability to build trusting relationships with peers, teams, and leaders, • Ability to lead through influence, inspiration, experience, and collaboration, • You inspire teams to come together and build best in class B2C?products? The salary range for this position is $150,000.00 - $212,750.00 USD, which is dependent on a several factors including relevant experience, geography, business needs and market demand.
