Job Description Ice Technician – The Rink at Rockefeller Center 2026–27 Season | October–Early Spring Overview SPS is seeking dependable, safety-minded, and detail-oriented individuals to join the operations team at The Rink at Rockefeller Center. As an Ice Technician, you will help maintain the quality, safety, and presentation of the ice and surrounding venue while supporting smooth day-to-day rink operations. This hands-on role is primarily responsible for operating the ice resurfacer, completing ice maintenance, monitoring conditions, and keeping the rink and adjacent areas clean, safe, and guest-ready. Ice Technicians may also assist with general Skate House responsibilities and light repairs involving lockers, facilities, rental skates, and other rink equipment as needed. The Rink is a seasonal cold-weather operation that runs rain or shine throughout the demanding winter. Candidates must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in cold temperatures and changing weather conditions, including rain, snow, and wind. A portion of each shift may take place on or near the ice; an insulated winter jacket and vest will be provided. Job Description MOJA Founding General Manager | Union Square Flagship, 39 East 13th Street, New York, NY 10003 THE COMPANY MOJA is a fast-casual brand built around one product: the Paratha Burger. Paratha is South Asia and the Middle East's most beloved flatbread, made with pure ghee, flaky and layered, and grilled until golden brown. We think it makes the world's best sandwich. In place of a standard roll, we fill it with smashed beef and bold flavors from everywhere, served alongside hand-cut fries, frozen Greek yogurt and signature karak tea. MOJA means joy. Our purpose is to make the Paratha Burger the next great American staple. The first flagship opens in Union Square, New York City, in December 2026: a ground-floor and mezzanine store on East 13th Street, at the center of NYU, The New School, Baruch and one of Manhattan's highest-traffic retail corridors. Union Square is the proving ground, not the destination. The menu, the kitchen and the brand are all built to repeat, as a small, fast, high-volume format designed to scale across North America. Brand, menu and SOPs are already built by world-class specialists, and the site is under construction on a signed 15-year lease, fully financed and fully designed. THE ROLE This is the first and most senior operating hire in the company. The Logistics team member is responsible for helping drive a smooth, on-time handover from FFM to last mile each morning. This role starts the shift by reviewing prior-day logistics performance, monitoring real-time FFM capacity to proactively adjust driver pickup schedules, and ensuring every route is picked up, loaded, and dispatched on time. The Logistics team also resolves driver and route issues as they arise and coordinates closely with 3PL partners to guarantee full route coverage. Daily Metrics Review & Pickup Planning • Start each shift by reviewing the previous day's logistics metrics, including FFM-to-last-mile handover timeliness and overall delivery delays (deliveries that exceeded the promised window)., • Review the supervisor count from the final hour of FFM operations to assess FFM capacity and anticipate its impact on last-mile handover., • When FFM is behind schedule, adjust and push driver pickup times to account for the delay., • When FFM is on track, review yesterday's delivery performance and fine-tune today's driver pickup times to help meet the delivery window. Logistics Service & Order Checks • Check the Logistics Service to confirm all orders have been assigned., • Review for any orders with integration errors and resolve or escalate as needed. Handover & Dispatch Execution • Complete the daily audit checklist to confirm handover readiness across all routes., • Confirm all routes are ready for handover and have been picked up., • Oversee cart-to-truck and pallet-to-truck loading., • Track middle-mile truck arrivals to ensure on-time dispatch., • Help ensure the end-to-end handover process runs smoothly and on time from FFM to last mile.
