Job DescriptionCompany Description This full-time role combines general production duties as needed and light maintenance/handyman work. Job Description General Production Helper (Primary Role) Job duties: • Manually perform any combination of component preparation tasks involving counting, sorting, preparing and packaging of small lightweight (0lbs. to 3lbs.) component parts or instructions sheets into plastic part bags or boxes., • Occasional assembly or subassembly of enclosures. Job duties: • Perform light repairs and maintenance, • Assist with tool repair or small handyman projects, • Ensure all equipment and machinery is in safe working orderQualifications Requirements: • Prior experience in a similar role (warehouse, maintenance, or manufacturing industry preferred), • Strong knowledge of electrical tools and materials, • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks as needed, • Familiarity with basic handyman tools and safety protocols, • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, • Ability to work independently and take initiative, • Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented Additional Information Rate of pay: In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the hourly rate for this position ranges from $18.50 to $19.50 per hour; which may be increased upon successful completion of the 90th day introductory period.
